So You Want to Know More.....

Where shall I begin... The beginning I suppose. It all started 39 years ago in a small town... OH, not that long ago huh??? :) OK, how about a brief overview...

I am a not-so-native Texan who originated in California, but spent most of her time in wonderful rural New Jersey (it's not all city and pollution). Anyway, I made my way to Texas to get away from the chilly Northeast winters. Here I've been for the past sheesh...2 1/2 years! I work for a local developer/general contractor as a cost analyst (it's not as boring as it sounds..promise!)

Now that I've seen Austin, I'd be hard-pressed to live anywhere else. The Hills, the beautiful scenery, the traffic. OK, so maybe not the traffic... Austin has a lot to offer. Beautiful scenery of country life and the hustle and bustle of city life.  But I can only tell you so much, see our links page!

I try to enjoy as much out of this wonderful life that God has blessed me with. Spending time with my most awesome new husband tops my "to do" list! I spend the time when I'm not working on various projects. They range from crafting, to above-water photography. I enjoy computer games (Myst is the game of choice at the moment, unbelievable graphics and a wonderful storyline!). I'm trying to find time for gardening, and decorating our new home also.

As you may have guessed I am a big fan of oceanlife! I think that Jacques Cousteau is the one who originally got me hooked on the ocean, all of his underwater photography enthralled me while I was growing up. After many years of woulda, coulda, and shoulda's I finally got certified to be able to go under and see for myself what I had been watching on Television for all those years. In January 1999 I became a Padi OW Scuba Diver. Over the next year I moved on to Advanced, and then Rescue Diver. This year I decided that it was time to embark on the adventure that becoming a Divemaster can bring! I've just finished the classwork and am working on my internship,  if all goes well, I'll be finishing up in the next month or so! Take a look at my Divemaster Map Online! I also enjoy the realm of underwater photography, although I would really enjoy getting into the video end of it, I hope to start collecting the equipment piece by piece in the very near future. Edward and I  travel out to the beautiful Flower Gardens at least a few times a year. We also have visited Cozumel on more than one occasion. We recently returned from Bonaire where we spent 8 beautiful days on our honeymoon! Visit our Dive Page to find out more about our trips.

I've only just begun to start on this page, keep your eyes open for family pages, wedding photos (online today!) and more!!
