Hi! Thanks for stopping by my page!
About myself - I'm a happily married, 38-year-old, reddish-blonde haired, blue eyed, 6'3" tall Texan. Check out my pic (74K jpeg). No kids yet (just Goddaughters) but I have a large, wonderful family spread throughout the Midwest, and a new family which lives just down the road a piece from Austin.
I love reading, swimming, computers, movies, live music, downhill skiing, and especially scuba diving (actually, anything related to water!). Best of all I like spending time with my wife, family, and friends, whether it be chatting, enjoying a movie or treasure hunting at 60 feet under!
Read up on How I Started In Diving for the details of just how and why I love this awesome sport!
I was born and grew up in the Midwest, where I learned to downhill ski, to enjoy cold weather, and had a great childhood. My family still lives up North which gives us an excuse to go experience cold weather once in a while. (We went there for five days in December '01 ... brrrr!)
I have a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Concentration in Solid State Physics) and my MBA in MIS from St. Edward's University. In my spare time I am finishing up my Microsoft MCSE Certification. You can't have too much education! (I keep telling myself that. :)
We live in beautiful Austin, Texas, the Live Music Capital of the World! Filled with green trees, hills, rivers and valleys, Austin is wonderful. It's the "Garden Spot" of Texas - you have to see it to believe it. See my Austin links to get a little flavor of the "Live Music Capital".
I work for a wonderful financial firm in Austin, whose goal is not to make money, but to help their customers learn more, grow financially, and enjoy their lives to the fullest. I manage a terrific team of I.T. experts who care as much for their work as they care for the cusotmers. It's hard work, but it's immensely rewarding ... and there's nothing better than having a job that makes you love to get up every morning!
I'm a happily married, mature, self-driven individual, enjoying the life God gave me. We attend Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church here in Austin, which we have really enjoyed for many years. And it was there, bathed in lovely stained-glass light, that my tall, beautiful, redheaded woman did me the honor of becoming my wife on March 3rd, 2001! She makes the stars shine a little brighter, puts a twinkle in my eyes, and fills my head with romance.
And now online -- WEDDING pix! Kudos to Beth for these great pages!
