What's with all the trumpetfish? It's amazing! We see so few of them on most of our trips, and here we saw four on our first dive! A large coiled spotted moray was hiding inside a coral head.

It was really easy to find Chez Hines/Bel-Mar dive site -- walk down the ladder at the end of the pier, take a heading on the buoy (about 100 yards out) and just swim through the surge. The surge was pretty strong down to about 20 feet, so it was a little challenging to get out there, but once you made it, every dive site had a wall to enjoy!

We dove with Toucan Diving. Their main shop is in the Plaza Resort Bonaire, but they had a satellite office right in the hotel, which was pretty handy. Best of all, they had an inside storage room with lockers so we could rinse our gear in their rinse tank, hang up and dry things out, and a key for 24 hour access! And inside a cage outside the shop, all the shore tanks you could ever want, one key turn away - heaven!
