Another Spotted Drum

Harlequin Bass

The Happy Shrimp

After yesterday, we were wiped out. We couldn't see ourselves going through another rough surface exit, so we went back to our old favorite. (Although by this time we were starting to get a little tired of this site.)

When you get tired, you get little problems. I broke my six pound weight pocket -- although it was old and ready for replacement, I wasn't too thrilled about losing it. I tried doubling up weight in my other pockets but ended up dropping a weight -- no good. I also lost my UKmini light somewhere, but we covered a lot of distance and neither of us felt like doing a repeat dive to search for it.

We saw an arrow crab hidden in the coral, another spotted drum, and two tiny blue shrimp (wished for that 105mm lens again!) It was a nice long dive, but we were still tired, and we knew this would be our only dive of the day.
