Klein Bonaire is a small island off the coast of the main island of Bonaire. Although it's only a few feet above sea level, it boasts many great dive sites. And it's usually a short boat ride, so that means more time for shore-diving later.

South Bay was a great dive. We had our first trip with our "assigned" Divemaster Luis. From my logbook:

Nice dive. Gave up on trying to keep up with Luis "cover 10 miles" DM & took our time. I only had a 2600 psi fill so I generally stayed a little shallower (about 30 to 35 feet).

Big + little grouper together, Luis found a seahorse after much searching, schoolmasters, snappers. [At the end of the dive] we missed the exit point, had to swim back about 150 yards against a very light current. Ugh. Kudos to Beth for identifying this when I posed the concern [about not seeing the dive boat].

I took a photo of a Tiger Grouper (one of two, actually) that had a really unique white area in his backside. It wasn't a photo artifact, as I have two photos, at different angles, that show the same coloration.
