Night dive on the East Bank, come on out y'all night critters!
And they did. We found the Frogfish!! Light green on a purple coral head, he must have recently moved here as his coloration hasn't changed yet. I struggled to jockey for a position to take the photo among a half dozen other divers, and I got as close as I could without kicking or knocking someone else. Oh, for a 105mm lens...!
We also saw Burrfish, a Long-Spined Urchin, and a beautiful Red Lizardfish (who also would look wonderful on a higher macro lens). The current was light-to-medium, and the waves remained low, which makes for ideal conditions for a night dive at the 'Banks. We had a blast!
(Oh, and in addition, this was my 500th dive - wahoo!
